Kinetic Rock//Christmas Jammies// CAT mini trucks//Car Rug//Melissa and Doug Latch Boards//Paw Patrol DVD Power Pack //Playmobil 123 Firetruck
So. I think I’m almost done my Christmas shopping and have been braving the hustle and bustle + let me tell you, it’s a whole new world when you’re 34 weeks pregnant, ha.
I thought it would be fun to share what is on George’s wish list this year + although I didn’t add it to the guide, I must give a SHOUT OUT to the massive garbage truck that lights up and moves and is probably the most annoying toy ever that will be taking a place under the tree on Christmas morning.
George saw this dang garbage truck in a flyer a few weeks ago, grabbed his hat, and walked to the back door + told me he was going to the store to buy his “beeeeeg (big) garbage truck”. I told him, we could ask Santa for it. Sooooo, yep. It’s going to be so awesome to see his face when he sees that Santa brought him the one thing he asked for!! I love being Santa/Mrs. Claus.
ANYWAY.
GBB is super into trucks. Like, SUPER INTO THEM. He can name any + every type of truck and he’s always trying to find something to scoop up and dump and I’ve been improvising with pom poms and buttons and rice andddddd let’s just say that my house gets destroyed so quickly, it’s driving me bananas. So, this is where Kinetic Rock is going to come in handy! I’m actually going to put it in a airtight bin with the CAT mini trucks + a few extra Kinetic Rock accessories and create the ultimate sensory bin! I am pretty excited about this gift. George is going to love it + I know he will have a blast playing with it!!
Christmas Jammies is kind of a must for gifts at Christmas. I will probably actually put this cute set in his Christmas Eve Box and I can’t wait to see dude waking up on Christmas morning wearing them and running towards the tree. Ugh, the holidays are just the BEST with little ones. Anddddd can we just talk about how I will have two kids next year?! AHHH. I’M SO EXCITED.
These Melissa + Doug Latch boards are so awesome!! George is realllllly into keys and unlocking (read: getting into) everything. I thought these boards would be super fun for him as they are definitely more challenging than his current puzzles which he literally mastered in a few days. GBB is also totally into playing independently and I think these boards will keep him busy + I’m excited to watch him develop some new skills.
And as I mentioned above, George is really into trucks. And he is really into his hot wheel cars so while he is getting a few new cars (does anyone else notice their hot wheels just disappear?! LIKE. Where do they go?!), Hubs and I thought having a car rug for his bedroom would be great for his independent play. We actually spend quite a bit of time in his room playing too so I look forward to having baby sister in her wrap/dockatot/bouncy seat + I can play with GBB in his room! I’m obsessed with how into his bedroom he is. He’s so proud of it!
Playmobil 1.2.3 has easily become my favourite of his toys–they’re so incredibly built + George LOVES them. He has a garbage/recycling truck and plays with it every day. He recently was gifted a construction truck + I know his Playmobil 1.2.3 collection will grow this Christmas. I thought the firetruck was a complete must have! Can’t wait to see his face when he opens up his weeeeoooo! I also really love that the Playmobil 1.2.3 figurines are bigger + easier for little hands to hold. He loves the little guys and when he plays with them + they talk to each other, they are so polite haha. It kills me. So cute.
Elevation Pictures has just released a 10-disk power pack of Paw Patrol DVDs (with a total of 56 episodes!) + you better believe this gift will be the gift that keeps on giving, especially when baby sissie arrives! I feel like I’ve seen so many episodes, if not all of them but having them at my finger tips (and available for the mama van!) is going to save my mama butt, I’m sure. George is going to freak out when he opens this up. He’s OBSESSED with the pups!
GBB will also be getting another set of Magnatiles as those are a total favourite and I’ve noticed he wants to build bigger things, so I thought it would be nice to have a few more tiles to work with. And of course, we have new wooden tracks for his train set because again, he likes to build “beeeeeeg” tracks. He’s the best.
What do you have on your little one’s wish lists? I’d love to know! Leave me a comment below!
