Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! The weather was gorgeous here in Toronto (a little warm for this preggo, but gorgeous nonetheless) and it was a pretty jammed packed weekend for hubs and I.
Our dear friends got married on Saturday and because there is a serious lack of labour signs on my end, both Aaron and I were able to go and celebrate their big day! I was over-the-moon to be able to attend + it was wonderful to see all our friends before this little guy makes his appearance.
The wedding ceremony was held in one of the most beautiful churches I have ever been inside; it was stunning!
The reception was filled with delicious food, the most heart-warming speeches (I was wayyy too pregnant/hormonal to deal with some of them; the parents’ speeches killed me), and lots of dancing!^I am seriously ready to have this baby, woof.
Sunday consisted of Aaron having to work (boo!) and I did a whole new round of intense cleaning of the apartment. I have a new found love for my vacuum and laundry for little clothing + swaddle blankets is actually much more fun than normal laundry. I’m sure I’ll be eating my words shortly. Also, shark week is the best week; how cute is this shark hooded towel?!Spending Sunday afternoon reading + relaxing was definitely the way to go. I will be posting a Summer Reading 2015 Love List soon but I have to tell you, “The Girl on the Train” is soooo good that I am trying to pace myself because I am already a little bummed it’s almost over. I know, nerd alert. And, I’ve been dying to crack the spine on “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up“. I’ve heard it is incredible and seeing as I’m a nesting nut these days, I really think it’ll be right up my alley.Oh, and today is my due date. And, yep, still pregnant.
This little baby sure is happy + comfortable on the inside. I can’t wait to meet him; any day now!
Happy Monday friends!
