Our sweet George Bear has grown + changed so much in the last month. He smiles, coos, and is so aware + wonderful. Because GBB is much more awake these days, we get to play more and enjoy more fun baby products! Here are our two month must haves!
Solly Baby Wrap: I was aware of Solly Baby Wraps well before we got pregnant + knew that I would invest in one (or two!). Not only are the Solly wraps cute, but they are lightweight and super soft. George wasn’t fond on being in a carrier last month unless he was already sleeping first but now that he can be wrapped in the classic carry style, he is much more interested. It makes for getting a few more things done at home do-able! Woo! Oh, and their fall collection has the sweetest prints + colours (hello oxblood, I must own you!). Solly Baby Wrap.
Ikea Baby Gym: This inexpensive wooden baby gym is a game-changer. George loves the bright colours and happily kicks and coos when he is playing. I love it because it is a no-fuss toy; I can place it on any surface. I place it on the bed in the mornings when I am chugging my coffee and applying my makeup. My neighbours thank you Ikea, I look less + less like the littlest hobo every day! It’s a good-looking toy + definitely one of our favourites. Ikea Baby Gym.
Medela Pump + Freezer Bags: As I exclusively breastfeed, I need to pump here and there. I love the Medela Freestyle breast pump and these freezer bags have been so helpful as I’ve been creating a freezer stash of this liquid gold. Not the most glam of products but they are must haves for this mama! Medela Pump + Freezer Bags.
Bamboobie Nursing Pads: Now these are the cutest! There is nothing worse than leaky boobs. Okay, there are plenty of things worse but leaky boobs is not fun. These sweet breast pads are organic, soft, and are in the shapes of hearts! I mean, c’mon. I received these as a gift from a spectacular mommy-friend and I am so happy I was introduced to them! Love! Bamboobie Nursing Pads.
Dougie the Jellycat Fox: If you follow me on Instagram (@holbowman), you will have noticed a few many photos of George with his little bestie Jellycat Fox (who hubs and I named Dougie, in honour of GBB’s late great-grandpa). George is obsessed with Dougie. He is soft, cute, and super cuddly. We’re a big fan of Dougie in this house! Jellycat Fox.
Jacques the Peacock: This Lamaze toy is awesome! He is bright, cheery, and has many different patterns and textures. Jacques is a staple for our stroller walks and car rides. George will stare at him + start waving his sweet baby fists at him. I just know GBB will be holding and squeezing him soon. I also adore that he is french…
Lamaze Jacques the Peacock.
Tommee Tippee Bottles: When I was pregnant, I was a review freak. I would read and read and read up about every product that I came across. As I knew that I would be breastfeeding, it was important for me to find a bottle that George would take. Tommee Tippee bottles (the Closer to Nature line) were rated very high for breastfed babies. At three weeks, we tried a bottle and George had absolutely no problem (he is a food monster!). I really like these bottles and have had zero issues with them. And it helps that they are easy to clean and have very minimal parts. This is huge with a capital H because at the end of the day, who wants to clean a million bottle pieces on top of the breast pump parts. Not this mamacita. Tommee Tippee Bottles.
