I have always been a fan of lists and when I was pregnant, I thoroughly enjoyed reading what products other mamas used + loved for their little ones. As I have survived month one of being a first-time mama to my sweet darling George, I thought it was fitting for me to write a small list myself of what has made my transition into mommy hood that much easier. And some of these products are simply the best.
Boon Lawn Drying Rack-Can we please start with how absolutely adorable this is? It was a must-have item for me + when we bought it, I was over the moon happy! Not only is it eco-friendly and a great size for all those bottle parts, pump parts, and baby bits + bobs, but it looks so cute on my countertop. It makes me believe I don’t have a black thumb after all. You can also purchase the sweetest little flowers and twigs to add into the grass to hold small pieces. It brightens up my kitchen! Honest Shampoo + Body Wash-Easily one of my favourite Honest products out there! I know I’ve raved about my obsession with this company, but truthfully, what a wonderful shampoo and body wash for our little George. It is tear-free, plant-based, eco-friendly, and has a very sweet subtle scent that is not over-fragranced + is perfectly soothing for our little bubs. This shampoo + body wash is not only for little ones either; I fully use it as a face wash some nights and it is so soft and gentle, I love it. Honest Shampoo + Body Wash
Earth Mama Angel Baby Nipple Butter-I have been fortunate to have a wonderful and successful experience with breastfeeding from the get-go. George was incredibly eager and a complete champ + I am thrilled I am able to breastfeed with no problems. With that being said, breastfeeding (and especially when your little one is cluster feeding like a mofo) can create seriously chapped nips! This incredibly soothing and organic nipple butter has been a life-saver. It is lanolin-free so no need to wipe off before baby and it smells really good; very earthy. I was gifted this nipple butter + I know it is a product that will always be on my top must-haves for all things breastfeeding. Earth Mama Angel Baby Nipple Butter
Keekaroo Peanut Changer-Not only does this change pad look ultra-hip in George’s nursery but it is the easiest thing to clean and take care of! We purchased the Keekaroo Peanut in black and it has lived up to all the reviews I read! The greatest thing is how easy it is to wipe up any blow-outs, pee puddles, and sweet baby goo! It’s true what they say about little boys: pee everywhere. It is soft, eco-friendly (no awful off-gassing!), and it’s super cool looking. I’m super down with anything that helps me do less laundry. Oh, and there are so many cute colours too! Keekaroo Peanut Changer
Honest Organic Lip Balm Trio-Yes, another Honest product and no, I do not work for them. I am obsessed with their lavender mint lip balm; I used it in the hospital and it really helped me feel like myself. I know, that sounds cray but pushing out a 9 lbs baby can take a small toll on a lady ;). I store my balm in my diaper bag + it handles any dry, chapped lips. I find it to be very soothing and not too smelly. Sometimes I will use a lip balm and my throat will get a teensy bit itchy due to the fragrances but not with these bad boys. When and if you order from Honest, add this trio to your bundle, I guarantee you’ll love them. Honest Organic Lip Balm Trio
Aden + Anais Swaddles-Everyone seems to love these swaddles and for good reason. These are by far my favourite baby items; officially my go-to gift for all expecting mamas. These blankets are lightweight enough for a summer day, perfectly stretchy for a good baby swaddle, and the patterns are oh so cute! We were gifted a fabulous amount of these blankets and I can’t stop thinking about all the other patterns I have come across. Oh dear, I am totally a Aden + Anais Swaddle Blanket hoarder, ha. No, but really, these are the bee’s knees and no other swaddles compare. Aden + Anais Swaddles
4Moms Breeze Playard-Oh the breeze! This was on top of my must-haves during pregnancy because not only was it going to be what our little bubs was going to sleep in when he came home, but because the reviews were fantastic. Plus, the videos on the 4Moms website? Yeah, pretty much sold me. Hubs and I totally splurged on this play yard + I am happy to say that we are both very happy we invested in it. Not only will it grow with George and our family, but it will be perfect for traveling. For someone with zero strength and is hell-outta shape (not for much longer, damnit!), it literally is a breeze to open, close, move, etc. 4Moms Breeze Playard
I hope this list is helpful to expectant and new mommies + will allow you to enjoy your sweet bundle that much more!

I am due in early January and there are so many products out there! This is a great start to my ‘must have’ list. I was contemplating both the Breeze and the Keekaroo changer and I think you just confirmed my purchase of both. Also, going to check out The Honest Company.
Glad you and GBB are doing well! Love the posts.
