Well, three months is here + it really is a whole new ballgame. Long gone are the days of cuddling on the bed for hours and watching show after show after show on Netflix. I did a lot of that but truthfully you guys, I wish I did even more.
It feels pretty right to start up a “routine” with little dude and I have a general idea of what I think would be best for both of us. With that being said, it is more of a guideline (which is both parent and baby-led) + I plan on still nursing on demand and reading his indicators (ultimately, George will tell me what’s up!). And this “guideline” I just mentioned hasn’t even been close to being met these last few days. Not even a little bit.
Now to throw off my guideline/routine/schedule is the three-month growth spurt + early teething symptoms. Both things that completely derail my daydreams of nap times with both hands free and a hot cup of coffee. Or two.
George has been drooling like a maniac + my heap of laundry keeps getting bigger and bigger as we have multiple clothing changes everyday due to excess drool + the occasional spit-up situation. I know I have to get on the bib train soon, so I rounded up a few bibs + teething accessories that I think are just the cutest. Buh-bye hideous + bulky bibs and hello, cute accessories that help our babes with their new little chiclets. And I am obsessed with the sweet teething necklaces from Loulou Lollipop Finery! GBB will be able to play with them while I nurse (as opposed to pulling my hair…) and the fact that the blue necklace is called Blue Jay is just P E R F E C T I O N.

I can’t even handle the mountie bib (Canada represent!) + the shark bib is too cute (perfect for shark week!). GBB isn’t sprouting teeth just yet, but I know that Camilia works wonders on most babies so I will be stocking up. Oh, and George rocks a pretty sweet black amber anklet these days. I don’t know if they are actually as magical as some people say but I figure it doesn’t hurt + he does look pretty badass. He’s very into munching on his hands, his swaddle blanket, or his security blanket + it is the cutest thing ever. So slobbery but so cute.
And he totally found his feet and toes today. It blew his mind. I almost cried with pride. But hell, I cry with happiness and pride so much these days. I mean, George will never be this tiny again and I swear I saw my first glimpse of toddler George. Please tell me I am not the only one who gets quick glimpses of older versions of babies…does that even make sense? Anywayyyyy.
This post literally took me four days to write because of the drool king himself. My little boss baby who I adore more than anything in the world. I’m off to cuddle his little slobbery face/hands/body.
XO
PS. If you have any suggestions or products that have worked for your littles, pretty please with a cherry on top let me know in the comments below! The more prepared I am for baby teeth, the better! And the less wine I will chug sip…
