I’ve always loved everything about the Christmas season: the first snowfall, the music (and dance parties that ensue), the food + drinks, and the magic of it all. It really is a magical time of year! Last year, George was itty bitty; he was only five months old. Christmas was so fun with him because it was his first Christmas but oh my word you guys, this year is going to be the very best.
The way GBB’s eyes light up when he looks at (read: plays with/grabs/shakes) the ornaments on our tree + how wide his smile gets when he opens up his advent calendar bag of the day–ugh, it just really gets me deep in the heart. When I think I can’t love him more…I do! M A G I C A L.
If you’ve been following along with me on this little ol’ blog of mine, you may remember the gift guide I created for babies last year. Aaaaaaand seeing as this year is a completely new ball game as George is a chatty + uber curious toddler who spends his days running around clutching his hot wheels + death gripping his toy drill (that is really annoying but he flippin’ loves it so much that I can’t hide it from him…although I want to. I reallllllllly want to), I thought it was the perfect opportunity to share what’s on George’s wish list + a cute little gift guide for toddlers.
This hat is super cute + it really gives me all the holiday feels. And speaking of getting nice and cozy, George would adore these rocket jammies and of course, no gift is complete without a pair of our absolute favourite sweatpants from Nudnik.
We are super big Mega Bloks fans over here and this table is perfect for the little builders in your life. I know George will be obsessed with it. Oh, and can we talk about this Mega Bloks Ride On Cat Excavator?! GBB is going to flip his little mullet! I cannot wait to see the look on his sweet face on Christmas morning. Guaranteed there will be plenty of “honk honk”, “beep beep”, and “vroom vroom”s happening all day. I. CAN’T. WAIT.
And as you all probably have figured out by now, we are a huge book family so this sweet board book will be nestled under the tree along with a few other favourites (this one and this one!).
George is showing much more interest in arts and crafts (this makes me so dang happy!), so this adorable table is a definite must have (it is so freaking affordable you guys + there are plenty of IKEA hacks to spruce it up if you wanna!) and these finger crayons are just the coolest.
Can we talk about the beauty of these colours on this abacus? I couldn’t resist! I am such a sucker for beautiful wooden toys…
Additionally, hubs and I have has been building a learning tower for George and I cannot wait to see it finished! We are following the tutorial from one of my favourite blogs Happy Grey Lucky and I will make sure to add some pictures of my little dude using it. We are thinking of giving it to him before Christmas as it will make our holiday baking that much more fun!
Oh, and we bought George this sled. And originally, I didn’t want to give it before Christmas because I kinda envisioned it under the tree with a big red bow but George saw it…when he was with me…when I bought it, ha. SO. We will use it before Christmas when we go for a neighbourhood walk to look at all the Christmas lights. Aaaaaand we had a massive snowfall so I am pretty excited about it.
Eeee! It’s all so very exciting and I can’t wait!
What are on your kiddos wish lists? Let me guess…a hatchimal ;)
I’ll be sharing gift guides for him + her next, sooooo stay tuned! Oh, and thanks ever so much for reading. As always, you are the best.
