How far along? 30 Weeks
Gender: Boy
Total weight gain/loss: 29 lbs
Maternity clothes? Yes and no. Now that the weather is nicer, I’ve been able to wear my maxi skirts and some cute tees! Nothing makes me happier than not having to bundle up and feel frumpy. I did do a little shopping for both me and little dude on the weekend and it was super successful; I bought the cutest maternity dress for my Toronto shower!
Stretch marks? Nope but if I’m going to get them, it’ll be soon…I’m definitely getting bigger and my belly is definitely stretching itself soooo operation cocoa butter overload!
Sleep: I feel like I could sleep forever! I get super sleepy in the afternoons (which I always try and cure with an afternoon cupcake pick-me-up…oh, and my dreams at night are out-of-this-world FREAKY.
Best moment this week: I had a wonderful doctor’s appointment on Monday (baby B is perfect) paired up with the gorgeous weather we’ve been having…best moment this week, hands down. What I would give for an ice cold palm-bomb on my balcony.
Have you told family and friends: Yes!
Miss Anything? Sitting on a patio and enjoying delicious summery drinks and my cute crop tops. And my belly button ring (haha, I’m perma-16).
Movement: Yes! Baby B kicks so much stronger and a few days ago I full-on felt a foot/toes on my side! It was w.i.l.d!
Food cravings: Milk. Popsicles. Give me all the popsicles. And I’d love a snowcone…or milkshake. Basically flavoured ice and milk, please!
Have you started to show yet: Oh have I ever! ;)
Labor Signs: Nooooooope.
Belly Button in or out? Same as last week…but it’s getting even more shallow. I’m frightened.
Wedding rings on or off? ON!
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy. Still quite quick to get upset and I can get teary-eyed over the silliest things. Oh mama hormones!
Looking forward to: Finishing up the nursery and seeing my friends & family at my second baby shower later on this month!
Time is flying so fast, I need to remember to stress less and enjoy every moment! I can’t believe I only have 10 (or 11) weeks left of this preggo journey and then it’s baby meeting time!!! I can’t wait to meet this little dude. I wonder what he’ll look like?!
As I mentioned in last week’s post, I’ve been dying for a real cactus for baby B’s nursery and am so happy to say that I finally bought one and it’s so so so cute. I also bought some gorgeous succulents for around the house. They’re perfect houseplants for me because I am new to the whole green thumb thing and I tend to kill houseplants…wish me luck on these little guys, ha.
Hubs and I are headed to Stratford on Saturday to celebrate a little buck and doe action for two of our dearest friends and then spending Sunday with my MIL for Mother’s Day. Crazy to think that next year I will be celebrating with a 10 month old nugget. Wowza.
Have the loveliest weekend and Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas, mommies, mums, moms, and mothers! You are so very appreciated and loved.
