How far along: 25 weeks + sneaking up to 26 weeks in a few days…
Gender: Girl!
Weight gain: 19 lbs! YOWZA!
Maternity clothes: Same as previous weeks–jeans + a few tops. Oh, but I did splurge on some cute maternity tights so I can rock some of my dresses + not freeze my booty off.
Stretch Marks: No new ones!
Belly button In or Out: It’s shallow AF.
Sleep: Oh how I could totally have more BUT it’s not too shabby. I really shouldn’t complain. I mean, dude sleeps through the night pretty much (a few nights he’ll wake up briefly!) and I think what my sleep struggle is, is how long it takes me to actually fall asleep. I lay there FOREVER + toss and turn trying to get comfy; the bump is definitely in need of some serious pillow support and baby girl likes to kick me a lot at night…I really hope this doesn’t translate earthside but my OB told me he had a theory about that + it doesn’t look good. Ha. I figure it’s because it’s the only time during the day that I am actually laying down?! RIGHT?! Ah, who am I kidding, I’ll never sleep again.
Best moment this week: Hmmm. Imagine I said it was my glucose test?! BARF. That was definitely not my best moment of the week BUT my OB appointment was pretty great–always so nice to hear sissie’s heartbeat. Hard to believe I only have one more appointment in 4 weeks and then it’s bi-weekly! Like, time. What. Guys, I’m having this baby tomorrow.
Miss anything: Not being out of breath so fast. I was sending an audio text to a friend of mine yesterday and I swear, I sounded like I had just run a marathon…but no, I was just walking around my house. And, my house is a tiny little cottage sooooo it’s not like I was climbing stairs! Ha. Yeah, definitely miss not sounding like a wheeze bag.
Movement: OH HECK YES! Sissie likes to moveeeeee it + it’s the best feeling. It’s literally magical every time.
Cravings: Ranch dip. Horseradish. Sushi/Wasabi/Pickled Ginger. Ice cold pop with a kajillion ice cubes.
Looking forward to: Halloween with my little dude + our baby moon coming up in early November!! So many exciting things to look forward to at this time of year and my heart skips a beat when George asks me about Santa and I realize that I’m going to be as jolly as Santa at Christmas + then I’m going to have a baby so soon and omg omg omg a baby girl! I. CAN’T. WAIT.

Jess! Thank you for the kind words + that makes me so happy! Isn’t it so lovely to look back at your pregnancy?! My fav thing to do these days is to compare how differently these two pregnancies are! XO Thanks for reading!
