I can’t get over these baby girl onesies. I just can’t stop looking at them! You almost forget how small babies are when they first arrive…
How far along: 23 Weeks!
Gender: Girl!!
Weight gain: 15lbs +
Maternity clothes: Now that summer has decided to re-appear, I’m back to wearing my flow dresses + have put my maternity pants aside but I am eager to go on a little maternity shopping spree soon!
Stretch Marks: No new ones that I can see. And the varicose vein saga continues + I can’t even handle it, you guys. I look 180 years old.
Belly button In or Out: Meh. Like, it’s weird. I dunno how to describe it.
Sleep: I WANT MORE! I am a freak + have been cursed with the good ol’ pregnancy insomnia that I forgot creeps up around this time in pregnancy and I just lay in bed FOREVER…and then George calls out for me to cuddle back to sleep. I zombie walk to his room and he’s so damn smiley and is all like ” I call you mama. I call you” and then I just die of happiness + cuddle him/fall asleep. Oh, and with my new lipstick hustle (more deets on this in an actual blog post soon, promise!), I have been using this insomnia time to work. So…I guess that’s a blessing.
Best moment this week: Baby girl is full-blown doing ballroom dancing up in this belly of mine. A little cha-cha, I think. She is moving + rolling + kicking and it is so amazing. I almost forgot how awesome it feels–Aaron should be able to feel her now but she always seems to stop when daddy puts his hand on my belly! George did the same thing…my kids are so funny. PS I JUST SAID KIDS. Wait. What.
Miss anything: Clear skin. Haha. Pregnancy acne is just like…apparently, my thing? Like, I know that different women get different things happen during pregnancy whether it’s the dark line or extra hair on their body…and me? I get an acne beard. Fantastic.
Movement: Yep! Please see BEST MOMENT THIS WEEK.
Cravings: Horseradish. Ha, I know it’s random. Hubs made roast dinner on Sunday (it was so effin hot in my house but I obviously meal planned for FALL) and I couldn’t get enough of the horseradish…and now I can’t stop thinking about it. Do you think it would taste good on tacos? Because it is Taco Tuesday…
Looking forward to: Doing some shopping for sissie, visiting family in Ottawa for Thanksgiving, and Halloween! Oh, and Christmas. Oh, and MEETING MY BABY GIRL. Basically, so much to be excited for! Yay!
