How far along? 21 Weeks
Gender: Boy
Total weight gain/loss: 15 lbs+
Maternity clothes? Yes. Mostly maternity bottoms and either my regular flowier tops or a size up from what I normally wear.
Stretch marks? Nope. You know how I feel about this.
Sleep: Sleep is still good. Preggo insomnia is still a part of my nightly ritual although it seems to be getting better.
Best moment this week: On Sunday, I felt the baby move! Baby boy was kicking or jabbing or punching up a storm and it was such a crazy indescribable feeling. I kept calling Aaron over to feel but as soon as hubs showed up, baby would stop. Baby jabs and kicks are happening more and more as the days pass so there is no doubt hubs will feel a good ol’ punch soon.
Have you told family and friends: Yes!
Miss Anything? Non-pregnancy related BUT I miss warmer weather. I am seriously missing spring and summer! I’m confident the weather will start getting better but ugh, now please!
Movement: Yep! Yep! Yep!
Food cravings: Milk. Frozen blueberries. Granola. Any and all baked goods from Le Dolci (ahhh, there were hot cross buns this week and OMG DROOL.) Mini Eggs. Sour anything. To be honest, I’m much hungrier lately and it rarely is for specific things. I’m just hungrier in general…and I get hungrier way faster. Basically I’m like the cookie monster but with all food.
Have you started to show yet: Yep!
Labor Signs: Nope.
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On!
Happy or Moody most of the time: H-A-P-P-Y!
Looking forward to: Starting the nursery and visiting my sweet niece this weekend to celebrate her first birthday! Time flies!
This past weekend was perfect as hubs and I had a good ol’ Sunday Funday like old times. If you follow me on Instagram (@holbowman) you’ll know that we indulged in bloody caesars (virgin for this baby mama, obvi), listened to country music, organized and planned out projects for our home, and made delicious food.
A highlight of the weekend was going through some of Aaron’s old baby clothes and books that my MIL saved! Literally, the cutest and most vintage clothing. We kept a handful and are both so excited to see our little dude rocking his daddy’s old duds. I mean, it doesn’t get any better than old school Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle PJ sets, does it?! I DON’T THINK SO. Heart eyes for days.
So, these weekly bump updates are so much fun for me but real talk, it is sometimes hard to take a good picture when I feel as big as a house. I have enjoyed every minute of this pregnancy and feel incredibly grateful for this experience, but guys, I am starting to feel huge. And I am only 21 weeks. Haha. Sigh.
Have a great weekend!
XO

You look adorable! That is so sweet that your MIL saved all of those goodies from your Hubby’s childhood – what an awesome thing for your babe to have those too!
