How far along? 19 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 15 lbs…yikes. I need to definitely mix in more veggies and fruit.
Maternity clothes? No maternity items yet but it is shopping time soon. This bump is here to stay and my pants are definitely not.
Stretch marks? Nope. Happy to say my Palmer’s Cocoa Butter is killing it!
Sleep: Sleep is good but I am definitely up a few more times a night to make trips to the bathroom or to lay awake and figure out if my child(ren) should go to French Immersion school. Seriously.
Best moment this week: Finding out baby B’s gender! It was such a long day of waiting at the ultrasound and it was so worth it! Hubs and I are over the moon excited to have a little dude. I totally think I am meant to be a boy mama for my first–and all our future kids will have a big brother and I mean, how perfect! I could cry with excitement. Bring on the dump trucks, bugs, and dinosaurs. This girlie girl is ready.
Have you told family and friends: Yes!
Miss Anything? I feel like I will always say my clothes. My cute, cute clothes. I have resolved myself to shopping for equally cute pieces. I would also love a beer. A nice cold pint of Kronenberg Blanc with a slice of orange would SLAY ME right about now. C’mon summertime.
Movement: A few flutters here and there…nothing that I can firmly pin point as movement. Again, it could be preggo gas. Soooo that`s attractive. The ultrasound proved that our little dude likes to boogie–just like his daddy!
Food cravings: Milk. Fruit. Veggies. Cottage Cheese. Real Fruit Strawberry & Kiwi Popsicles.
Have you started to show yet: Yes!!.
Gender prediction: Well my prediction wasn’t 100% incorrect. I definitely thought boy at the beginning but was swayed into girl land and then last week and up to yesterday, I had a feeling we were having a little baby boy. Hubs is so proud that he never waivered on team blue. Oh, how excited I am for the two men in my life to be besties! Thinking about this could totally trigger hardcore happiness sobbing. Oh lord.
Labor Signs: Nope. Thank god! That would be SCARY.
Belly Button in or out? In. Phew! You know how I feel about this.
Wedding rings on or off? On!
Happy or Moody most of the time: SO. HAPPY. I. COULD. BURST. I wanted to cry all day because of how happy I am but I haven`t yet… I’m sure a good ol’ happy sob will happen in the shower soon. I should warn the hubs.
Looking forward to: Wow. So much! Getting the house organized and the nursery set-up! And baby showers! And Springtime! And meeting our BABY BOY!!!!!
Before I could post this, I had a little fun with my girls at Le Dolci.
Aaron and I had been counting down for baby gender reveal day and now that it`s here, everything definitely seems more real. At my appointment I couldn`t help feel so incredibly nervous. I shake when I`m nervous (which I`m sure will happen when labour goes down) and I couldn`t stop but feel equally as excited to know more about this amazing little nugget growing inside my belly. He may be growing in my belly but our love for him is growing more each day; knowing a little bit more about this happy and healthy little dude just overwhelms me with happiness!
I have big plans for our home and for his sweet nursery and cannot wait to get started on everything! Hubs and I have started on a few projects for our place and I am anxious to reveal some of the really awesome ideas we have. I will be posting sneak peeks here and there on my IG (@holbowman).
Thank you thank you thank you for your love and sweet comments! Makes me one happy baby mama!
XO
